National Abbey Theatre, Dublin, Ireland

This theatre set was built drystone in 1993, for the National Abbey Theatre in Dublin Ireland
for a production of Thomas Murphy's play "Famine". The broken circle represents the
discontinuity in Irish society and culture brought about by the Irish potato famine.
