    Ruined Castle

    A folly is built to look like a ruin. This was designed by my brother who is an architect. He based it on a ruined castle in Ireland. Stone steps lead to a first floor with an outdoor fireplace and seating area with views over a river valley. The window surround was salvaged from a building in Ireland.

    A folly is built as a ruin. Here a set of steps go to an upper level where you can have a sun downer around an open fireplace
    The corner flares out towards the bottom, as in medieval fortifications so projectiles are hurled back at the attackers.
    We imported this antique window from Ireland, for the folly.
    Surrounding the structure are fallen chunks of masonry for authenticity.
