The Battel Chapel in Norfolk, CT is known for its Tiffany stained glass windows. We were commissioned to build an extension to the original 1880's building that looked identical to the original stonework. We sourced a local granite that matched the old chapel and carved each block by hand to very accurate dimensions. The walls are 16" thick, load bearing solid stonework with four romanesque arches. Note the exquisite hand carvings on the eaves by the architect, Ernie Sinclair.
